Today I got to meet up with Ashleigh, who's from Topeka like me (yay!) and who also went to Concepcion, Paraguay with AFS like me (hooray!) and who's also living on Oahu now (whoopee!). We caught up over yummy Brazilian berry treats in Kailua.

And it was a pleasure to meet Ashleigh's 2-month-old, Giovanni. What. A. Cutie.

Giovanni was just adorable and very agreeable. In this picture I think it's clear that while I'm posing for the camera, he's deep in thought -- most likely contemplating the Iranian election situation. Don't you think?:
