In the Subway

This is the exit of one of the subway stops in central Fukuoka. It happens to be in the basement of a snazzy hotel, which might be why the place names are in Roman characters as well as in Japanese ones. I love this sign: it's such a perfect representation of how I find my way around Japan.

(Turns out "eeny meeny miny mo" is actually the name of a fancy-schmancy mall that's connected to the hotel, but I prefer to think this sign is speaking directly to me.)
